Faculty Grievance Procedures
The UIC Faculty Grievance procedures define an administrative process through which faculty or instructional staff may seek resolution of complaints arising from a decision, or a refusal to make a decision, that affects their employment at the University of Illinois Chicago or one of its sites. These procedures are intended to encourage informal means of resolving a complaint and to provide prompt, fair, and definitive resolution. Claims of unlawful discrimination or sexual harassment are handled separately through the Office for Access and Equity.
